Loveabull Paws Rescue is a dog rescue group in the Greater Metro Detroit area.  With the unfortunate decline in our economy, the population of pets being left behind and dumped is at an all time high.  We have made it our mission to help those with out a voice, and give them the life they deserve.  All of our adoptable pets are living in foster homes, temperament tested, spay/neutered, vaccinated, heart worm tested, and micro chipped prior to adoption.

St. Bernard mix orphan pups

These cute little furballs are our orphan babies that were dumped at the shelter with their dad. Dad is a St Bernard mix on the smaller side at about 65lbs (He has been adopted through our friends at Oakland Pet Adoption Center) Mom was said to be a Blue Heeler/Aussie mix (the owner would not surrender mom after much trying by Oakland County Shelter to get her to do so) They will be ready for adoption approximately May 1st after they are spayed and neutered. They are current on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and dewormed.


Little Niles will not be ready when the rest are.  He has had to have a blood transfusion and a week hospital stay.  He is now eating well but only weighs 1.7 pounds.  His body temperature is regulated and he now has some spunk.  Although his abdomen is very distended, he tires easily, and is a quarter the size of his siblings.  He goes back to the vet on Tuesday 4-9-13 to find out more.
